The Autistic Culture Podcast Network is the first podcast network created by and for Autistic people to celebrate our culture, our voices, and our contributions to the world. A project of The Autistic Culture Institute, this network centers #ActuallyAutistic experiences, storytelling, and expertise, offering a bold alternative to pathologizing narratives by highlighting the richness of Autistic identity, neurodivergent creativity, and community culture.
Rooted in the social model of disability and Dr. Angela Kingdon’s 10 Pillars of Autistic Culture, our shows explore the full spectrum of the Autistic experience from sensory processing and special interests to stimming, executive functioning, and authentic communication. We dive into topics like disability justice, neurodiversity in media, writing for self-expression, historical Autistic contributions, and strategies for unmasking and thriving.
